The JHU Center for OCD, Anxiety, and Related Disorders for Children (COACH) is located at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.
The program is founded and directed by Dr. Joseph F. McGuire, and is part of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry under the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
We specialize in the evaluation and treatment in children, adolescents, and young adults. Our research aims to improve the understanding, assessment, and treatment of young people who experience the following conditions:
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Tourette’s Disorder and other tic disorders
- Anxiety Disorders and Phobias
- Anorexia Nervosa
- Trichotillomania (TTM, or hair pulling disorder).
