I am currently a second year Teach For America Corps Member in Baltimore City (teaching ESOL and newcomer Algebra 1 at Patterson High School) as well as a Research Assistant here at COACH. During my undergraduate career at the University of Maryland, I was a Research assistant for three years at the Shackman Lab, an Affective and Translational Neuroscience lab. I also have experience as a one-on-one counselor at the Confident Kids Camp DC (for selective mutism) where I practiced PCIT-SM therapy in a supervised setting. My ultimate goal is to gain skills and experience to refine my research interests and pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology.

I am currently working on an initiative to provide vaccinations for rural communities in India. In my free time, I like to read, watch football, and work on jigsaw puzzles. In the future, I hope to obtain a medical degree and work to provide healthcare in developing countries.
