Congratulations to Nicholas Myers, M.A. on his article being published on ScienceDirect! Mr. Myers’ article focused on trichotillomania, also known as hair pulling disorder. He discusses the two different classifications of hair pulling, Focused and Automatic, and how the outcome of treatment is influenced by these styles of hair pulling. His research analyzed the effectiveness of treatment-as-usual (TAU) and habit reversal training (HRT) in patients with Focused or Automatic styles of hair pulling.
